Stop by the National Geographic Society ticket office at 1600 M Street N.W. in Washington, D.C., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. If still available, tickets will go on sale 45 minutes before each program.

Unless indicated otherwise, all National Geographic Live! events in Washington, D.C., take place at the Gilbert H. Grosvenor Auditorium, a comfortable and intimate 385-seat theater located in the Society’s headquarters building.
MEMBER DISCOUNT
To receive the National Geographic member discount, you must order tickets by 4 p.m. ET on the day of the program. For morning programs, the deadline is 5 p.m. ET the previous day. The member discount is not available for tickets purchased at the door. Become a member of the National Geographic Society online or call 800 NGS LINE.
CHILDREN‘S TICKETS
Unless noted otherwise, tickets for children age 12 and under are half the nonmember price.
GROUP RATES
Group rates are available for some programs for parties of 15 persons or more. Call the ticket office at +1 202 857 7700.

FREE PARKING
Free parking is available in the Society’s underground garage (get directions) for programs after 6 p.m. weekdays or on weekends. The garage opens at 5:30 p.m. for 6 p.m. events. For other programs, the garage opens one hour before each event. Advance reservation or ticket purchase is required to gain entry to the garage. Elevators take you directly from the garage to the Grosvenor Auditorium lobby.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Refreshments and light meals are available for purchase before weekday events, starting a half hour before most programs, except the Tuesdays at Noon series. Seating is provided in the National Geographic Dining Hall, across the lobby from the auditorium.
PLEASE NOTE
Because we offer modest ticket prices, the Society regrets that refunds cannot be made, and tickets cannot be exchanged. Tuesdays at Noon presentations are freeāno tickets required!
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, alternate programs/speakers may be presented.
