For this prestigious series, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the U. S. State Department have collaborated to produce a tour featuring top performers of jazz, urban, and roots music. The performers were selected from applicants from around the country to represent American music and culture at venues overseas. Don’t miss this chance to hear some of the country’s finest musicians in advance of their tours abroad.

6 p.m. – Brian Horton Quartet explores multicultural rhythms and revisits jazz standards to craft original, spontaneous compositions.
7:15 p.m. – Roseanna Vitro and the JazzIAm Band based in New York, offers a musical gumbo flavored with Texan blues, the sound of Brazil and elements of jazz.
