Becoming an underwater archaeologist.
Courtesy www.childrensmuseum.orgVisit The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and embark on an international archaeology adventure covering the globe and spanning nearly 3,000 years of history. Explore three extraordinary discoveries – the tomb of Seti I in Egypt, the pirate shipwreck of Captain Kidd in the Caribbean, and the terra cotta warriors from China. Learn about the tools archaeologists use to piece together stories from the past, from a CT scan of Seti’s mummy to a dredge used to suck up the sand and reveal precious artifacts buried in the ocean floor.
