Exhibits

For Educators

The National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C. offers a number of educational opportunities for both students and teachers. Temporary exhibitions (3–6 months) covering a wide range of subjects from natural history and science to archaeology and world culture allow for teachers from many subject areas to create trips connected to curriculum and national education standards. Supplemental programs and activities enrich each visit and vary with the exhibitions on view.

Museum admission is free for student and youth groups (18 and under). Reservations are required. Visit the Group Sales page to learn how to reserve tickets.

Download the Animal Grossology Teacher Guide.

Animal Grossology will be open at the National Geographic Museum from September 26, 2011 through January 2, 2012.
