Spanning almost a century of global upheaval and riveting human drama, this exhibition follows the careers of a stellar quartet of National Geographic photographers who used their cameras to record a truly remarkable era. See some of their most striking images in the gallery, and read what the photographers themselves had to say in audio recordings.
The exhibition is accompanied by the National Geographic book Odysseys and Photographs (National Geographic Books, 2008; $40 hardcover).
