The Banff Mountain Film Festival is one of the most important events on the annual film festival circuit, offering the best films on mountain sports and cultures. Now in its 33rd year, the festival is presented in part by National Geographic. Buy your tickets early for what is always one of the most popular events of the season! Some films contain graphic language.

Screenings for Tuesday, February 3
The Sharp End: Eastern Europe (USA/2008/17 min) Climbers explore the unique history, culture, and danger of one of the world’s most remarkable climbing destinations.
The Cable Car (Switzerland/2008/7 min) An old man treats himself to some snuff—with disastrous consequences.
Flying With Eagles (Denmark/2006/43 min) A world paragliding champion trains with a Russian steppe eagle.
The Fine Line (Canada/2008/25 min) Epic riding, amazing visuals, and stunning true stories of avalanche survivors.
Danzak (USA/2008/19 min) A girl’s life changes dramatically when her dying father asks her to fulfill his last wish.
Crux (Canada/2007/12 min) Peoples’ Choice Award for Radical Reels. Three athletes execute mind-bending feats of bike mastery.
