While more has been learned about the sea in the past half-century than in all preceding history, the next ten years may be most crucial to the health of our oceans. In a special presentation celebrating the new National Geographic book Ocean: An Illustrated Atlas, its co-authors, legendary oceanographer and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Sylvia Earle and ocean scientist Linda K. Glover will draw upon the most up-to-date information from NASA, NOAA and other sources to provide unprecedented views of our blue planet.
