Considered the greatest living mountain climber by many, Ed Viesturs has summitted Mount Everest seven times. In 2005, he completed an even more ambitious quest, to climb the 14 highest mountains in the world without the use of supplemental oxygen. Join this legendary mountaineer as he shares awe-inspiring experiences and explains how his goal-setting, training, and self-discipline empower him to overcome the largest of obstacles and achieve tremendous feats.
Viesturs’ stories offer rare and powerful lessons to young people, and are an inspiration to those beginning to think about their futures. (Recommended for grades 5–12)
Registration is now open. Seats are limited so register early! Registrations will not be taken over the phone.
