To celebrate the arrival of the exhibition Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China’s First Emperor, historian Albert Dien will review the tumultuous era of Chinese history which saw the construction of the terra cotta army. Discover the critical historical importance of Emperor Qin Shihuangdi, how he unified China, and why he ordered this extraordinary army of statues placed in his tomb.
