Take a journey with paleontologist Paul Sereno as he shares the thrilling life of a dinosaur hunter. Sereno has led expeditions to places as diverse as the Sahara, the Tibetan plateau, and the foothills of the Andes, discovering more than two dozen new species of dinosaurs on five continents.
This modern-day Indiana Jones and professor at the University of Chicago received the Chicago Tribune’s Teacher of the Year award (1996) and draws students to his work by describing it as “an irresistible combination of travel, adventure, art, biology, and geology.” (Recommended for grades 5–8)
