Life in the undergrowth and treetopsincluding dancing Brazilian frogs, alien-looking praying mantises, and swarms of blood-thirsty army antsis the subject of Moffett’s fascinating stories from his adventures all over the world.
This brilliant and intrepid ecologist, known as “Dr. Bugs,” uses humor to open students’ eyes to the small wonders of the natural world. (Recommended for grades 2–6)
