For a story in the April National Geographic, Norwegian photographer Jonas Bendiksen documented
what could be the early stages of an environmental catastrophe in the Tibetan Plateau, where thousands of glaciers provide water for over a billion people. Bendiksen will share images of the rugged beauty of the plateau, its disappearing water sources, and the people downriver who depend on them.
