Student Matinees in Seattle—Frequently Asked Questions

1. When does registration open?
Registration begins November 1, 2011 at 7 a.m. PST. Seats are limited, so register early! National Geographic Live Student Matinees are open to all public, private, and home school groups.

2. What is the student ticket cost for National Geographic Live?
These student matinees are free. Registration is required.

3. Is there a subsidy program to cover costs for busing?
Subsidies for bus transportation are available. Please indicate need on your registration form.

4. What time do the National Geographic Live Student Matinees start?
10:30 a.m.

5. How long are the National Geographic Live Student Matinees?
Matinees are approximately one hour long, including a Question & Answer session.

6. Will the content be appropriate for my class?
Please note grade-level recommendations for each program before you register. Recommendations are listed on each speaker event page.

7. Will there be a place for my students to have lunch?
Food and beverages are not allowed inside the theater, but there is limited seating available in our public spaces. All buses must leave the downtown area by 12:00 p.m., so it would be simpler to eat lunch off-site.
