Master cheesemonger Steven Jenkins returns to National Geographic with a special
selection of cheeses for the spring season. As Jenkins explains, springtime cheeses are
distinctive because they are the very first cheeses made after the animals have been let out
of the barn after a long winter of confinement. The resulting combination of happy animals
and the freshest grass and herbs makes for the best cheeses of the year. Jenkins will
be joined by sommelier Joshua Wesson, cofounder of Best Cellars, who will present a
selection of wines to compliment the cheeses.
Presented with support from Best Cellars wine store, Dupont Circle.
