A founding member of National Geographic who presented the Society’s first lecture on February 13, 1888, this larger-than-life explorer is brought to the stage by Clay Jenkinson, one of the most sought-after humanities scholars in the country. Acclaimed for vivid interpretations of Thomas Jefferson and Teddy Roosevelt, as well as Powell, Jenkinson brings to life the intelligence, courage, and determination of this hero of the American West.
