Go behind the scenes with the world’s most popular video game. An international phenomenon within a year of its release, Angry Birds is now the No. 1 paid iPhone app of all time, and has inspired a popular series of National Geographic books covering topics from ornithology to physics. Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka, creator of the Angry Birds franchise, will explain the Angry Birds phenomenon and what drives the company’s partnership with National Geographic. Physicist Rhett Allain, author of National Geographic’s Angry Birds Furious Forces!: The Physics at Play in the World’s Most Popular Game will explore physics through the Angry Birds lens. Boyd Matson moderates.
